Daniel is our Finance Director and his duties include management of the business finances, human resources, health & safety and office administration. A significant proportion of his time is also devoted to the pursuit of future project appointments and the strategic development of the business. Daniel will often take an active role during the design phase of ongoing projects, which encompasses the ethos of the company that at least one director shall participate in the delivery of each and every project. Examples of his contributions include project management duties, cost management, value engineering exercises, carrying out QA checks on our design & specification documentation and contributing to the resolution of technical issues where appropriate.
Daniel has been responsible for the delivery of major projects across a broad spectrum of sectors including industrial, semiconductor, medical device, bioscience, leisure, commercial and retail. Daniel started his career serving on a recognised Building Services Apprenticeship with one of the largest design consultancies in Scotland prior to studying Environmental Engineering at Strathclyde University. He has now attained over twenty two years experience in the building services industry whilst engaged at a number of M&E service design consultancies. During this time, Daniel also gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Project/Construction Management from Heriot-Watt University. Daniel is a founding Director of Callidus Design Limited.
